Blast overpressure from IEDs, breaching, artillery, mortars and repeated heavy weapons fire can cause traumatic brain injury in service members and veterans, even without a blow to the head or loss of consciousness. Our trauma therapy screens for blast related brain injury and adapts care when it's present.
